A Haori is a formal overcoat worn over the kimono. It is usually hip- length and they do not close like the kimono, but are worn either open or closed by two himo string cords. It was traditionally worn by men, but after the 1800s that a geisha started wearing them, it became fashionable for women to do so, also.
The best way to wear a Haori is simply over an outfit as a jacket.
This haori is all black with a beautiful sewn design of a peacock in the back with golden, blue and green thread. In the front it has small flowers sewn on the left side with the same threads.
The insides is a beautiful lining in beige with geometrical japanese patterns.

1. Waist: measure around your waist at the navel
2. Half chest: measure yourself at the front from armpit to armpit at the widest point
3. Hips: measure around the hips at the widest point below the navel
